We are pleased to introduce, Nathaniel Roesener, our new Intern Architect at CCD! Nathaniel grew up in Decatur, Alabama and recently graduated with a Bachelors of Architecture from Mississippi State University. While at MSU he served in several campus leadership positions including Alumni Delegates. He was also an integral part of the Teacher and Research Assistantships with the School of Architecture with efforts focused on affordable housing, disaster relief in Central America, and serving as Director of the Design Discovery High School Camp. Nathaniel’s goal is to become a licensed architect and to continue CCD’s long-standing practice of design creativity and excellence. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Ellie, family and friends, watching college football, serving at his church, and anything to do with his dog, Gatsby. Nathaniel, “I am always interested in learning something new!” We are excited to have him part of the CCD family.
Introducing Madison Grayson, our new Interior Design intern at CCD! Madison grew up in Forest, MS and graduated from Forest High School. She recently graduated on the Dean’s List with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Interior Design and a minor in Floral Management from Mississippi State University. Madison has her goals set on quickly becoming a licensed Interior Designer and create spaces that are functional for users and bring comfort into their everyday life. She enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, serving in her church, and has a love for animals and all things gardening. Always eager to learn, Madison has already become a part of the family at CCD!
CANIZARO CAWTHON DAVIS is excited to announce the promotion of Kirk Oldenburg, AIA to the position of Associate. Kirk has been with CCD for a little over a year and quickly established himself as a leader and asset to the firm. Kirk has successfully managed a variety of religious, corporate and healthcare projects, and enjoys working closely with clients and coworkers. A Florida native, he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Southern Mississippi and a Master’s of Architecture from Louisiana State University. He and his wife, Kellis, and son Ryder, live in Clinton, MS. He enjoys spending time with his family and in his free time, fishing, camping, traveling, and riding in a New Orleans Mardi Gras krewe.
Hannah brings a year of prior architectural design and production experience to the firm, and has worked in Hattiesburg, Jackson, and New York City. She is passionate about finding innovative solutions in architecture and continually growing her knowledge of the field. In school, she was actively involved with multiple student organizations while maintaining a competitive GPA and received accolades based on both academics and design work. She has a personal interest in botany and loves spending time outdoors. She has been a hobbyist for many years and enjoys discovering new and creative ventures to pursue in her free time. Committed to the world of architecture, Hannah is excited to continue learning and growing as a designer at CCD!
We are pleased to announce that Kirk Oldenburg, AIA, NCARB, has recently joined Canizaro Cawthon Davis Architects as a Project Architect. Kirk earned a Bachelors in Architectural Engineering with Honors at the University of Southern Mississippi and Masters of Architecture at Louisiana State University. Kirk brings 8 years of prior architectural design, production and construction experience to the firm and has worked on multiple projects in Mississippi and Louisiana. Select projects include Delgado/Ochsner Center for Nursing and Allied Health, Tulane Goldring/Woldenberg Business School, NW Jackson Middle School, Highland Corporate Headquarters, and Poland Avenue Cruise Terminal. Kirk lives in Clinton with his wife Kellis, and son Ryder, and attends First United Methodist Church of Clinton.
