Testimonials

Our success can be measured by the satisfaction of our clients and by the recognition of our peers. We are proud that over 80% of our work is for repeat clients, who have grown to value our services. Our clients’ buildings have been honored with over 40 local and regional design awards.

CCD is uniquely gifted in their ability to understand a client’s needs and transform ideas into action. Their team is mission driven toward exceeding expectations. Our shared history includes master planning, building design and renovations. CCD also played an important role in Canopy’s brand transition in 2017 by creating new finish and furnishing standards to amplify the new brand.

HMA elected to use Canizaro Cawthon Davis because of their “outside of the box” designs and in making our budgets achievable. This firm’s attributes are both Christian-based and professional. They not only provide architectural services, but interior design as well. I have found you get the entire package in one place working with Canizaro Cawthon Davis and recommend them highly for any projects you pursue.

Jackie McGowan, Former VP of Facility Management and Planning, River Oaks Health System

It is a distinct privilege for me to affirm the exceptional experience and relationship that Jackson Academy has enjoyed over the past twenty years with Canizaro Cawthon Davis, and therefore, to highly recommend their services for your architectural planning and interior design management needs. CCD’s professionalism, counsel, attentiveness and thorough knowledge of educational institution design work are major factors in the architectural maturity, functionality and beauty of our total campus.

[CCD has] been able to provide us everything from facility and site master planning to project design for new projects and renovation of existing facilities. Their particular skill is in presenting good design, listening to and understanding their client’s needs and working within the client’s budget. Their ability to work with the client, general contractor and design team in a cohesive and non-threatening manner helps make the project run smoothly, on time and on budget!

Joseph M. Morette, Former Executive Vice President and COO, Methodist Rehabilitation Center

I have found CCD to be among the best architectural firms that I have had the pleasure of working with in my thirty years’ facilities management experience. Their services are professional, responsive, and they are knowledgeable of the healthcare environment. In addition to traditional construction and renovation design services, I consider CCD to be an extension of my limited staff for renovation project management, assistance with drawing modifications and as-built preparation for projects that did not require design services, providing copies of drawings, interior design and color selections for in house projects, maintenance and repair information for finishes and furniture, and vendor or contractor suggestions and recommendations.

Jim MacFarquhar, Former Senior Director, Facilities Management, Methodist Rehabilitation Center

The museum project was a $24,000,000.00 volunteer effort led by the Junior League of Jackson. In addition to planning and design the firm dealt with extraneous issues created by annual leadership changes in the JLJ. These leadership changes led to changes in ideas of procedure and design of the museum. The firm also had to negotiate many political hurdles created due to the museum site being on State of Mississippi property. It is my belief that without the professional services of this firm our museum would not have made its opening deadline of December 2010.

After reflection on this mammoth volunteer effort, the one constant during the 10 or more years it took to bring this dream to fruition is the architectural firm of Canizaro Cawthon Davis.
