The School of Forest Resources studies Mississippi’s woodlands and wildlife. Wood siding combined with brick fit the building into the Mississippi State University campus. The plan puts researchers’ offices directly adjacent to their laboratories. Generous windows in the offices look toward the center of campus across a new courtyard. This building was designed to meet the needs of the University for educating students and for research and continuing education requirements of those involved in the Forest Industry in Mississippi.
CCD, in association with Eley Associates Architects, was responsible for the design, construction documents, interior design, and construction administration.
