The new Mississippi Native American Museum in Kosciusko anchors a street corner on the courthouse square. A multifaceted cultural and educational endeavor, the museum will advance the knowledge and understanding of Mississippi’s indigenous people and culture: pre-contact, past, present and future. Through partnerships, exhibits, programing and educational opportunities the museum will be an engaging and honest conduit for understanding the richness, depth and diversity of Mississippi’s first people. In addition to the museum exhibits, an activities gallery and courtyard expand the use of the facility to engage with other local events.
