John Dunaway receives Communication Excellence Award

John Dunaway, AIA CSI CCS, architect with Canizaro Cawthon Davis, has received the Communication Excellence Award from the Gulf States Region of the Construction Specifications Institute. This award, presented only once each year, was developed by the Gulf States Region to recognize individuals who have portrayed exceptional communication skills while promoting the principles and values of CSI. Mr. Dunaway was the first recipient of this prestigious honor. The award recognizes Mr. Dunaway's efforts in producing programs and special publications for CSI and AIA, as well as lecturing and writing articles about construction related topics.

CSI is a national association dedicated to creating standards and formats to improve construction documents and project delivery. The Gulf States Region includes Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Arkansas and the panhandle of Florida.
